My name is Matilda and I have recently graduated with a First Class Honours degree in Law from Durham University. Using the experience I have of tutoring, and from my own academic career, I am committed to helping students excel to the best of their abilities. I have been a tutor for the last four years. I tutor in English, Maths, French and Law, but I also have experience in History, Geography and Science. My students have ranged from those embarking on common entrance, all the way to GCSEs and A Levels.



I am committed to finding bespoke and unique ways of teaching which are tailored to individual students. No two people learn in the exact same way, and so I use a variety of methods to help build each student’s confidence and to encourage and motivate them in every aspect of their academic studies. I want to create a welcoming and relaxed environment, in which my students feel comfortable to express their opinions on a topic and raise concerns when they are still not completely sure on a subject. I focus on helping students not only excel in exams, but also to be able to think for themselves, helping them in their academic future.
