Hello!
I am a graduate from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and have obtained a Bachelor's degree in Music with Honours. I'm enthusiastic and outgoing in nature and always come up with new and creative methods of teaching- more often than not on the spot! Teaching plays a huge part in my musical career and I thoroughly enjoy it. I love teaching all levels from complete beginners to advanced pupils as they each have something different and interesting to offer. I find that I too learn a lot off them in discovering what strengths they have and what areas need improving on. I have taught many pupils over the last five years helping them prepare for concerts and exams. I've also taught pupils of varying ages from 6 years old to mid 40's. I've also done several outreach projects within primary schools which I very much enjoyed and have continued to explore. Furthermore I have experience teaching children with special needs, namely Aspergers. I always tailor my lessons to each individual pupil as everyone learns slightly differently regardless to what age they are. I will also always ask what the pupil wants to get out of these lessons in regards to working through the exam grades; preparing for concerts; or just to improve your technical and musical ability on the instrument.
