I have a City and Guilds teaching certificate, for which I took work experience in a sixth form college in West London taking Sociology lessons.
I also have a thorough insight into education and universities having worked as a media relations officer for the Institute of Education (one of the country's leading teacher training institutions) and UCL, working alongside teacher training providers and education researchers. I was involved in working on campaigns and press releases to publicise their research, much of which had a cross over with Sociology and Sociology of Education.
I have a keen interest and all-round knowledge of my subject, and enjoy helping students to understand it and maximise their potential.
I am currently taking a career break to focus on various creative interests, and therefore have considerable flexibility and availability for tutoring.
