About Cristina P
Italian tutor
I am Cristina, I was born in Italy and 2 years ago I decided to move to Brighton.
I'm a charismatic person who loves to communicate with people.
I have a lot of hobbies that I feel passionately about.
I love children and since I was a student I worked as a Tutor for young people.
Italian is my mother tongue and I have some certificates (grammar, linguistic, lexicology and
lexicography) which prove I'm eligible and able to teach Italian, French and English languages.
At 6 years old I started to study English language.
I followed courses at the Cambridge school in Cambridge city, Oxford, Nottingham and
Liverpool. I am graduated in 'Cultural and Linguistic Mediation' (English and French languages)
and I also have a master's degree in 'Interpretation and Translation'.
My first degree lasted 3 years. It was based on the knowledge, culture and history of a country. I
feel culture is an important aspect of language. This knowledge helped me a lot when I move to
Paris and I started working as Au Pair.
An au pair is a young person from a foreign country who lives with a family in order to learn the
language and who helps to look after the children. It was an amazing experience.
After this degree I decided to improve further. Studying deeply the languages with a master that
allowed me to specialise.
The university of interpretation and translation allowed to develop and increase my knowledge of
the English and French languages.
Thanks to my studies I had the possibility to increase my knowledge and experiences and I am
working as part time as English, Italian and French tutor to children who want to improve
language skills.
