About Eleanor L

University History and Ancient history student tutoring GCSE and A level History/ Ancient history

I have tutored previously in sixth form; I tutored History to a girl in year 12 whilst I was in year 13. The experience was great because not only did her grades improve but she became more confident in the subject and when somebody is confident in their subjects it means they can do even better. Furthermore I understand tutoring is important as it can be less intimidating for a student to ask their tutor for help privately than to ask their teacher, I would like to be able to provide this kind of support for somebody again. Lastly I study History and Ancient History at university and at A Level I took History and Classical Civillisation, this gives me the knowledge necessary to tutor GCSE and A level students on History and Ancient History.
