humanities & University Access Tutor
I am a dedicated history teacher, specialising in Key Stage Three to Five (including GCSE and A Level exam preparation). I have experience marking exam papers for AQA and Edexcel exam boards and have created pupil-friendly mark schemes to make sure exam candidates know exactly what they will receive marks for in an exam. I’m also trained to teach Religious Studies and English Literature and greatly enjoy tutoring these subjects.
I am an Oxford University graduate and have worked for both the Oxford and Cambridge University Access schemes. I am very keen to tutor pupils and support their Oxbridge applications and offer interview practise.
My teaching style is all about getting to know the individual pupil; their strengths and weaknesses and what learning style works for them. I’m currently studying for a Masters in Education so I’m constantly looking for new ways to deliver interesting and effective lessons.
