I have recently graduated from the University of Cambridge, having read Geography at Trinity College. Across my time at university I tutored Geography students from common entrance through to A-Level and have since had over 150 hours tutoring experience, ranging from lessons over Skype to classroom sessions with a number of students. I believe that my unique approach, focused around measured goals and interactive learning helps students to reach their maximum potential. My key focus is around building confidence and an understanding of exam mark schemes, this helps students to focus their approach and their answers and unlock the highest marks available. I regularly ask students to complete a small amount of written work for review as well as encouraging feedback about particular lessons; I believe that this ensures that my teaching is an active rather than a passive process, which helps to support optimum learning habits.
