I am a recent masters graduate from the University of Glasgow gaining a merit in medical genetics. previous to this I gained a 2:1 in Biological Sciences from Edinburgh Napier University. This provides me with a broad base and more advanced specialism from which to work.

I have had many experiences working in an educational environment working with a range of age groups, including children and mature students. I have set up study groups in university teaching biochemistry, microbiology and German. I was also a cadet trainer with St John Ambulance and have done two weeks work experience in a primary school. More recently I have done observation days in two high schools, did my honors project with an Environmental Science class at a third and have completed the Essential Learning and Teaching Assistant Program with Vision Learning Academy.

My teaching style is supportive particularly valuing current homework tasks as a means of identifying and tackling areas of weakness and looking at exam papers as a means to build confidence and practice exam technique.
