I am a qualified accountant and financial analyst having taken and passed my ACCA, CIMA and CFA exams in the first attempt. I have more than 17 years of practical experience. I have worked in management accounting, internal audit and risk management and for the last 14 years in infrastructure financing. I have always had an interest in teaching, coming from a family of academics and have enjoyed giving training as part of my job.

I have a broad range of experience and whilst I could teach any subject in the ACCA/CIMA curriculum my key area is finance followed by accounting and economics.

I am happy to do an introductory half hour to get to know you and understand how I can help you. I have always believed that knowing your subject and passing an exam are not the same. You must always understand and know your subject. There are no shortcuts but things are also not always as complex as they may seem. I have taken and passed professional exams both as a full time student and as full time professional and know who to navigate the syllabus and develop techniques that minimise what you need to memorise. Understanding fundamentals saves a lot of time and it is better to know one principle rather than 5 formulae. Of course there are certain rules like in tax that have to be memorised as they are beyond obvious logic!
