I qualified as a Primary Teacher from Newcastle University in 2016 and worked as a supply teacher across Northumberland and Newcastle. I taught across years Reception to Year 6 in all subjects. Prior to studying Primary Education, I completed a Music with Musical Theatre degree at Chichester University in 2014. I enjoy teaching children and adults Music. I have helped with audition technique and stage performances. I took a break from teaching when I had my son in 2018 and I will be returning to supply once he starts Nursery.

I am flexible around you and your child's needs and will teach to their interests alongside the National Curriculum. I will talk to you about your child's work and what help you would like initially and build individual tuition to suit.

If you are interested in Vocal tuition or Music tuition, I will discuss the outcome of lessons, if you are looking to audition I will work through the pieces with you and help you build confidence to perform. I have previously worked with children who have had performance anxiety and helped them put techniques into place to enable them to feel more confident to perform. I can also teach music theory in preparation of examinations or to help sight read music. When teaching vocals, I use a range of backing tracks and select music you enjoy alongside pieces that will challenge you and help you grow as an artist. I have previously used Rock School when teaching and can use this with you if you would like to follow a syllabus.
