My name is Tim,
I have recently finished my degree in Philosophy and Politics at the University of Sheffield. I am pursuing a master's in philosophy orientated around political philosophy. I enjoy teaching because it allows an intellectual engagement between the tutor and pupils. Philosophy is an energising subject and the analytical methods one learns can be used in a multidisciplinary way. As a tutor, the way I teach is more generally a conversation about related texts. I also give academic support and techniques for writing exams and essays. I am able to accommodate different essays structures ranging from GCSE up to university essays.
