Highly experienced bassist with over ten years of UK and international touring. Besides this I have performed and composed music in various well respected bands, as well as maintaining a career as a function band bassist (corporate events, weddings). With over five years experience as a private tutor, I am always keen to teach new individuals wanting to learn. Genres I work with include- Rock, Funk, Reggae, Dub, Ska, Punk, Gypsy, Pop and more..

My classes usually have a strong focus on groove, rhythm, scales, modes, improvisation, composition, and learning inspirational bass lines. I am always happy to teach you the bass parts of your favourite bands.

Sometimes traditional academic formats of teaching can overcomplicate explanations of theory , so I tend to explain things in a fun, broken down, simple and digestible way.

I also played the guitar and have done so across various projects for many years. I also offer guitar lessons for beginners and use a similar methodology.
