I’m a 21 year old student from Manchester, currently on track for a first at UCL, with a large history in tutoring. From Year 11- Year 13 I worked as a tutor for the younger years in History, Classical Civilisation, Politics and English Literature. All of my mentees moved up at least one letter grade, with most moving up two. I also ran MUN helping to teach important debate skills. Also, in summer 2019 I was accepted on the highly competitive CSSC camp in Guangzhou where I taught English to Chinese students for two weeks. They rehired me to teach two four week online courses on academic writing over lockdown. I had to prep every lesson and delivered them to 12 kids over a 2 hour session. They also asked me to teach again in Japan over the Tokyo Olympics but sadly this was cancelled due to coronavirus. I would love to help your child develop and succeed. I know how to push while your child academically while also understanding all the stress that comes with school. It's important that tutor sessions don't become an extra burden for your child otherwise they won't bother to engage academically.
