My teaching methodology is focused around getting my students to understand the core concepts behind the English language as relevant to their goals. I tutor all ages of students looking to improve their level of proficiency in English, from the primary school age to adults alike. Cooperation, patience and hard work are three central principles from which I like to teach; at first understanding my student's goals, specific needs and strong points and understanding how they individually learn. Tailoring a specific program to suit each specific student and style of learning within the time available, allocating work for my students to do on their own time, and encouraging my students to ask questions and work with me as a tutor are indispensable tools which make tutoring a joy. Ultimately I gain satisfaction as a tutor from seeing progress coming from my students as a result of their hard work and our collaborative effort.
