I have a BA Hons 2:1 degree in Combined Arts (English Literature, Spanish and French) from the University of Durham, and ten years’ experience working in language-orientated fields, both at the Italian Embassy and two international business media companies. I am now a Health Sciences student with the Open University, which allows for flexible hours across the week.
While I was at university, I tutored children in English, Italian and music while living in France, and very much enjoyed helping them progress and become more confident in their skills. It was often the case that patience, understanding and encouragement helped students to overcome their difficulties and feel secure in their development. I have also taken part in conversation tutorials to assist people with their English grammar and conversation skills.
