I have always loved helping children from a young age, whether that is babysitting or helping family members with everyday life skills.
From a young age working with children has always been a passion of mine. So when I finished my GCSE's I went onto college to study health and social care. During this course I did a lot of volunteering, this included working in a nursery, helping out at the local brownie group and helping a friend of mine with down-syndrome with everyday life skills. Since then I got a job at an after school club. Here I realised that I loved helping the children with their homework. This is where I realised I wanted to work in a school setting.
I have worked in a school setting as a teaching assistant for over 5 years. I especially enjoy the challenge of helping special educational needs pupils and those who struggle in an everyday education environment.
During these unprecedented times where children's education has been disrupted,I feel that online tutoring will prevent children from falling behind.
I am Currently studying teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL). This is where I have learnt skills to online tutoring, and everything that is involved with tutoring online.
