About Warwick W

highly experienced & well qualified Advanced Skills Teacher

I am a highly experienced and very well qualified Advanced Skills Teacher and former Assistant Headteacher. In a highly successful, 30 year teaching career, I have been a Special Educational Needs representative, a Head of Year, a Head of History, an Examiner for AQA and other exam boards, an Advanced Skills Teacher and an Assistant Headteacher. I have worked in large secondary schools, delivering high quality teaching and learning and school leadership.
am a very caring and supportive teacher. I believe in a close working relationship between the child, the tutor and their parents. Learning should be enjoyable, fun and satisfying. I can offer your child the best possible support and tutoring, providing bespoke learning that is tailored to your needs and uses a wide variety of approaches and activities. You will see their confidence and understanding grow and with it their achievement. This can be a short or long term programme of support, a confidence boost or a more structured programme of learning.
As parents, you will begin to feel better equipped to support your child and avoid those difficult situations where you want to help but don`t quite know what to do for the best. I can also offer experienced and independent advice about your child`s school and the education system to help you make the most of your child`s one chance to succeed.
