About Craig W

Author, national newspaper journalist, history graduate

An author of both fiction and non-fiction and an experienced national newspaper journalist, I provide the highest-quality guidance and tutoring on all types of writing – and how to get published. As a history graduate (and historical novelist), I also give tuition to school history students.

I have written two books and worked at the highest level in print journalism, filing copy to almost every Scottish and UK national newspaper as well as a number of magazines, journals and overseas publications. For the past 20 years, I have run my own business, providing the full range of writing and editorial services.

Tuition can be arranged at home or online. Mindful of the ongoing Covid pandemic, all necessary safety measures will be observed.

I am flexible, friendly and approachable – and happy to answer any queries or discuss what you want from your tutor. All initial consultations are free of charge.
