About Rayan K

Law Tutor for gCSE, A-level & University - LLB, LPC & SQE

I am passionate about fostering a deep understanding of law and its practical applications through my teaching. Over the past 5 years, I have had the privilege of imparting my knowledge to diverse groups of students across various institutions.

My journey as a law tutor began at Queen Mary University, where I tutored first year subjects courses such as Contract Law and Public Law, whilst I was in my second year of LLB. The knowledge I learnt in my first year, I decided to impart to first year LLB students. Similarly, when I was in my final year of LLB, I privately tutored second year LLB students. My commitment to creating an engaging and interactive learning environment led to increased student participation and improved retention rates. I am proud to have played a role in guiding students to excel in their examinations, with several achieving top scores and going on to pursue successful legal careers.

After completing my Legal Practice Course (LPC) at BPP University Holborn, I had the opportunity to teach specialised modules such as Intellectual Property Law and Advanced Commercial Litigation. These subjects demanded a nuanced approach, and I tailored my teaching methods to simplify complex concepts, resulting in consistently positive feedback from students.

My experience extends beyond traditional classroom settings. As a dedicated tutor, I organized regular study groups, mock trials, and guest speaker sessions to expose students to real-world legal scenarios. Witnessing my students' growth in critical thinking, argumentation skills, and legal analysis has been immensely rewarding.

One notable success was mentoring a student who initially struggled with legal writing. Through focused one-on-one sessions, I guided them in refining their research and writing abilities. This student not only significantly improved their grades but also went on to win a prestigious legal writing competition.

I believe that effective teaching involves adapting to individual learning styles and fostering a dynamic learning community. My commitment to excellence, combined with a track record of positive outcomes, makes me confident in my ability to contribute to the success of future law students at Tutor Finder.
